Leave The Mess Behind
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Luke 9:23 (KJV)
In 2002, we worried too much about many things - money, family, work, etc. - but God made a way for us in 2002.
In 2003, God is still giving us the same message that He preached 2000 years ago - He healed people, cast demons out, and fed multitudes. He may a way then and He can do it again. If you trust in Him, He will take care of you. All you need is the faith of a grain of mustard seed.
In the above scripture, Jesus was in an intimate moment with His disciples describing what He was about to go through. He was making the way for you and me.
If anything is hindering you from believing God will make a way for you, then that is mess. Leave the mess behind.
You cannot serve two masters. Either you serve and believe God and live or serve you mess and die. Leave the mess behind.
Do not let the mess hinder you in anything. Leave the mess behind.
Walk right, talk right, act right. Leave the mess behind.
Deny yourself and pick up your cross and believe God. Leave the mess behind.
Make your peace this year - come to Jesus and follow Him. Leave your mess behind.
Go boldly into 2003 with the mess behind you!
